Omega-rich seed mix
This seed mixture will give you a good amount of the essential fatty acids – omega 3 and 6’s – your body needs for good health. It is also a good source of fibre and phytoestrogens so can help PMS symptoms and aid digestion. Eat 1 – 2 tablespoons daily.
Sprinkle over your breakfast cereal, porridge, soup, stew, stir-fry, salad or stir into some natural yogurt.
- 500g organic golden cracked linseeds (also known as flaxseeds)
- 250g organic sunflower seeds
- 250g organic sesame seeds
- 250g organic pumpkin seeds
Pour all the seeds into the bowl of a food processor and grind well. Decant into an air-tight container and keep in the fridge.
NB: When introducing linseeds to your diet, ensure you drink plenty of water.
